Adam 3000

"Adam 3000" is an acrylic painting on canvas board, framed with a handmade papier-mâché structure. This singular piece blends elements of brut art, abstraction, figuration, and a naïve, folkloric style that’s both strange and poetic.

I named this painting Adam 3000 imagining the first being of a new humanity, born in a post-apocalyptic future. Most of the current human species would have vanished, and a new form of life would emerge. Here, "Adam" doesn’t refer to a person but becomes an adjective – symbolizing the primal essence of a fresh beginning.

The frame is part of the artwork itself, made from papier-mâché – a material I love for its robustness and delicate texture. It keeps the piece lightweight while giving it a sculptural quality. A metal clip on the back allows for easy wall hanging.

The artwork will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard box with its signed certificate of authenticity
