"Fool’s Gold" is a mixed media painting using acrylic and posca on canvas, glued onto a second canvas. It comes with a handmade papier-mâché frame, irregular and textured, which is part of the artwork. A clip on the back allows easy hanging.

This painting isn’t meant to represent anything specific. I prefer that each viewer creates their own interpretation. I like to move between abstraction and figuration to explore mental images and inner landscapes.

To me, it’s about extracting or collecting something rare—yet found everywhere. A paradox that makes it all the more elusive. I’m obviously not talking about a precious metal, but something whose real name I don’t know.
